Our story with this house
We’ve been hosting Poconos getaways for 7 years — 790 guest reviews averaging 4.93 stars across our properties. This chalet in Lake Harmony Estates is our favorite project yet: a three-story 1980s chalet we remodeled top to bottom, from the speakeasy billiard room in the basement (yes, the 18624 pendant lights over the pool table are the local ZIP code) to the backyard we spent a full season landscaping into what guests now call “the oasis” — hot tub, cedar sauna, 20-foot gazebo, fire pit, string lights, and one of the only fully fenced yards in the Estates.
Doug lives in Pocono Pines, Pennsylvania, ten minutes up the road. Nicholas and Kellie co-host — between the three of us, someone is always reachable, and our 100% response rate means “reachable” is measured in minutes, not days.
